Material: Spalted Beech / Cast Iron Dimensions (WxLxH): 800mm x 1750mm x 350mm Cast iron legs, dating from the 1950’s
The top of this table is created from 4 slabs of wood, taken from the same section of the trunk of a Beech Tree felled by Storm Desmond in 2015. They were slabbed and stored in 2019, and once dry; planed, jointed and finished to form an unusual and dramatic live edge coffee table. The legs were rescued from a 1950’s office cabinet from a Police station in Wakefield; long since demolished to make way for road improvements.
